On the afternoon of April 27, after two days of hard work and fierce competition, the 11th Spring track and Field Games of Anyang University came to a successful end in the track and field stadium. The main party and government leaders of the university, the heads of various departments, colleges and some representatives of teachers and students attended the closing ceremony. The closing ceremony was presided over by Cui Yongqiang, director of the Student Affairs Office and Vice minister of the Study and Work Department of the Party Committee.
More than a thousand teachers and students from eleven colleges participated in sprint, long-distance running, solid ball, long jump, high jump, shot put and other sports. In a short period of two days, I saw the athletes of Anyang University struggle and perseverance, saw each collective unity, concerted efforts, and progress together with the mentality of sharing weal and woe, and saw the cohesion and appeal of everyone's action to interpret the spirit of sports, all of which show the charm of the games all the time.
Power and emotion interwoven in the football field, shining honor is the light of effort. At the closing ceremony, Tong Jianguo, deputy chief judge and director of Sports Teaching Department, announced the results of the competition, accompanied by happy music, school leaders awarded prizes to the winning groups and individuals. The success of the games not only benefited from the careful planning of the school leaders and the fairness and justice of the judges, but also from the hard work of the competitors. Through this sports meeting, fully demonstrated the university students' tenacious struggle, the spirit of youth and the collective sense of honor.
