From November 9 to 11, the final of "FLTRP-Guokai Cup" and "Understanding Contemporary China" National Foreign Language Proficiency Competition for College Students was successfully held in Nanjing Normal University. Under the guidance of Ms. Yang Ying, Ms. Zhu Hairong and Ms. Yu Yaqing, Ms. Wu Yinuo, Grade 21 English major, and Ms. Wang Zhen, grade 22 Business English major, from the College of Language and Culture of our College, they competed with 173 contestants from 74 universities across the province. After two days of fierce competition, the two players stood out, and finally Wu Yinuo won the first prize of Jiangsu Province, and Wang Zhen won the second prize of Jiangsu Province. Wu Yinuo successfully qualified for the national competition, and will represent Jiangsu Province with other first prize winners to participate in the English Speech national Finals in late November.
"FLTRP · Guopai Cup" National English Speaking Contest was founded in 2002. It is one of the largest English speaking competitions with the largest number of participants and the highest level. The competition is authoritative, academic and professional. Since 2018, it has been selected into the "National College Student Competition Rankings" issued by the Chinese Association of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, and has been included in the provincial level competition projects by many education authorities in the country. The results of the competition in leading the concept, training talents, promoting teaching and other aspects have been recognized, and continue to build a competitive stage for young students to show their style and challenge themselves. In this competition, the contestants of our college fully demonstrated their language ability, thinking ability and innovation ability, and comprehensively demonstrated their respective strength and style.
