On the afternoon of November 29, the 2023 Faculty Fun Sports Meeting of Anyang University was successfully held in the gymnasium. The fun games set up a total of dry land dragon boat, pearl travel thousands of miles, sandbag throwing, stone across the river, orienteering 5 projects, attracted 12 teams more than 300 teachers and staff actively participate. Deputy Party Secretary and President Shan Weilong attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech, Party Secretary Meng Wei announced the opening of the Fun Games, and the chairman of the trade union Zhang Mingxuan presided over the opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, President Shan said that the staff fun Sports Meeting is a group activity integrating competition, entertainment, exercise and friendship, and its purpose is "everyone participates, everyone is happy". At the beginning of the competition, the participating faculty members warmed up before the game, and the atmosphere was quickly mobilized. Dry land dragon boat project competition began, each team of participants on the "dragon boat" ready to start. With the referee's order, each team of players riveted full strength, with the foot as the "paddle", and sprinted forward at the fastest speed. In the project, the teachers could not take their eyes off the ball. They used a long tube to hold the ball together from end to end. The ball rolled forward like water in the tube and fell into the cup at the end. In addition, the breathless sandbag throwing project, the rocking stone crossing project, the courageous orienteering project competition is not only a competitive competition, but also an intellectual contest, the scene atmosphere is tense and warm. Each fun project is not only entertaining, mass, but also competitive and cooperative. The laughter and shouts at the activity site are one after another, testing the physical strength and wisdom of the participants, but also testing everyone's tacit understanding, teamwork ability and cohesion, highlighting the spirit of the faculty and staff who love sports and are healthy and upward.
