On November 6, the 10th National College Simulation Collective Bargaining (negotiation) Competition, organized by the Labor Relations branch of the China Society of Human Resources Development and hosted by the Capital University of Economics and Business, came to an end. A total of 72 teams from 36 universities across the country participated in the competition. Due to the needs of epidemic prevention and control, the competition was held in the form of "online + offline". Anyang University participated in this competition for the first time this year, the labor team and the management team organized by the Department of Economics and Management stood out in the fierce competition and won the second and third prizes respectively, Wang Yuan and Wang Haozhe won the "Best negotiator" award, and Meng Xiangjie and Wang Minfei, full-time teachers of the Department of Economics and Management, won the "Excellent Instructor" award.

Collective bargaining is a kind of cooperative negotiation between labor and management, and is a bridge of communication between the two sides. The negotiation results have legal effect, and it plays an important role in promoting the healthy development of enterprises and maintaining social and economic stability. After more than ten years of development, the National College Simulation collective bargaining (negotiation) competition has become a comprehensive event with the high participation of labor unions, human resources and social organizations, education authorities and enterprises, and high attention from all walks of life. It provides a learning platform combining theory and practice for college students, which not only improves the professional quality of students, but also enhances the spirit of teamwork.

 

The management team started from the case, combined with professional knowledge, actively proposed solutions to the problem, and promoted the smooth progress of labor negotiations. In the face of the delayed refusal of the management team, the labor team showed high resilience and rich professional knowledge, and finally reached an agreement through the difficult game, and the two teams were highly recognized by the judges and achieved excellent results. Although it was the first time to participate in such a national competition, the students cooperated closely and calmly, showing the organic unity of win-win negotiation and negotiation.
