In each dormitory, the dean Wang Xizhong carefully inspected the living environment of the freshmen, had a cordial conversation with the freshmen, introduced the development of the college as a whole, expressed a warm welcome to everyone, and asked them where they came from and what their first impression of the school was. He encouraged freshmen to adjust their status as soon as possible, actively integrate into university life, help each other with roommates and classmates, make common progress, cherish campus time, strengthen self-management, rationally plan college life, pay attention to cultivating good study and life habits, consolidate professional knowledge, practice excellent skills, and lay a good foundation for future development. He also urged students to strengthen personal protection, actively implement epidemic prevention and control measures, adhere to scientific wearing of masks, wash hands frequently, ventilation frequently, temperature measurement, less gathering.
