In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the General Secretary's important instructions on volunteer service, inherit and carry forward the spirit of Lei Feng, further beautify the campus environment, build a green and environmental protection campus, and constantly enhance the awareness of "green, green, green love, green protection" of the faculty and students of the school, on the afternoon of March 13, The Youth League Committee of Shangqiu University of Applied Science and Technology, together with the Logistics Department, carried out the learning Lei Feng activity with the theme of "always follow the Party to volunteer to shine youth" and volunteer service activities of "protecting green grass and beautify campus". The teachers of the Youth League Committee of the school, the staff of the logistics Department and 140 young student volunteers participated in the activity.
The location of this activity was arranged near the library and teaching building of the university. The student volunteers participating in the activity were divided into 14 groups with 10 people in each group. Before the start of the activity, the staff of the greening section of the Logistics Department conducted professional and systematic training for the volunteers. After the training, the volunteers carried out weeding work in an orderly manner. During the activity, volunteers actively popularized environmental protection knowledge to teachers and students passing by, calling on more teachers and students to join in the action of caring for green grass, enjoy the joy of labor together, and contribute to beautifying the campus environment together.
